Our Story
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found myself completely out of pads or tampons at the absolute worst moment. Every time, I’d think, why is this still such a hassle? I mean, I know my period is coming—I’ve known since I was 12—so why am I always stuck running around last minute?
That’s when it clicked for me: why can’t this just be easier? Why can’t period care be something that’s automatic, something I don’t have to think about every month?
That’s exactly why I started My Delicates. I wanted to make period care as easy as it should be—no more last-minute stress, no more forgetting, just everything you need, delivered right to your door. Because honestly, we deserve that. 💕

How do you even start a Period Care company?
No clue… but it had to be done. Late-night tampon runs, endless research, and way too many product samples later, it all came together—starting from scratch and turning a simple idea into a real solution.
Oops, I Forgot Again... Like Always
Every month, without fail, I’d forget to buy pads. I’d be at home, totally unbothered—until the moment I needed one and realized I was out. Cue the late-night drugstore run, annoyed at myself for forgetting again.
The “Why Doesn’t This Exist?” Moment
I just couldn’t shake the thought—why isn’t this a thing already? We need these every month, so why isn’t there an easy, automatic way to get them? The more I thought about it, the more it didn’t make sense…
Bringing the Vision to Life
Turning this idea into a reality meant a lot of learning on the go. I had to figure out how to build a website, set up a subscription service, and make sure everything worked seamlessly. There were a lot of late nights, a few too many tech tutorials, and plenty of trial and error—but step by step, the vision started to come together.
Testing, Tweaking, Perfecting
Getting the right product took a lot of trial and error. I worked with different suppliers, testing countless samples, and tweaking every detail. Some were too stiff, others didn’t absorb enough. But I kept pushing, testing each one until we found the perfect combination of absorbency and comfort. It took time, but once we nailed it, I knew we had the solution we’d been looking for.
From Our Tiny Apartment to Your Doorstep
We started in an 800 sq ft apartment, packing and shipping orders ourselves. It wasn’t easy, but the feedback from our members kept us going. Every message, every thank-you, and every “this is exactly what I needed” fueled our drive to grow.
Our Mission
When we started building this brand, we uncovered a harsh reality: period poverty is real, and it’s not something people talk about enough. Accessing basic period products shouldn’t be a struggle, but for too many, it is.
That’s why for every order, we donate a month’s supply of period essentials to a woman in need. It’s a small step with a big impact, helping women and girls manage their periods with confidence and without barriers.
Together, we’re working towards a world where period poverty is a thing of the past.
